I would like to nomiate one of the great groups of the sixties and seventies, The Turtles, to the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame. This group had many great hits, such as It Ain't Me Babe, Let Me Be, Happy Together, Elenore, She'd Rather Be With Me, She's My Girl, You Showed Me, and Lady-O. These are only a few of there great songs. This group had many top ten records and appeared on many TV variety shows. The Turtles were the original Folk Rock Group, helping to start a new era of Rock and Roll. They should be part of the Hall of Fame, if for no other reason, just for no other reason then their smash hit Happy Together, which any American can sing from start to end. The Turtles were without a doubt a major influence on Rock throughout this time period and should be included in the history of rock at the hall.
